Trouble Rolling Dice
I just downloaded this game, and while I don't have any issues with the iPhone version, my computer (Steam) version will not let me roll the dice when it's my turn. I can take my first turn of the game, but that's it. Is anyone else having this problem? It's making the game literally unplayable.

I'm sorry that you're experiencing problems with the game - can you give me a bit more info about the issue?

Does this happen every single time for you (after the first turn)?

Is this in single-player or multiplayer, or both?

How does the issue manifest itself - do you see the dice there, but clicking on them has no effect? Or are the dice simply not present at all?

If you can provide me with a date/time of a game where this happened, I can take a look at the server logs and see if there's any information that can help there.

Thanks for getting back to me, and sorry for the delay.

The issue with rolling the dice occurs in both single-player and multi-player. I can usually roll the dice on my first turn, but every turn after that, I can't. No amount of clicking gets the dice to roll. I can hover the cursor over the dice, and dice even move, but they won't roll. I can still play during multi-player because there is a timer that automatically rolls the dice after time is up, but that feature doesn't seem to exist in single-player. That being said, I just had to close out a game (multi-player) because I couldn't roll the dice and the timer wasn't functioning. It's extremely obnoxious. I can tell other people are having the same problem, because there seems to be a delay with quite a few other players that's about as long as I have to wait for the dice to roll.

I am having the same problem. Has anyone found a solution yet?
The only way i can play a complete game is to exit and rejoin the game every time it's my turn then the dice will roll. Obviously this isn't going to work for multiplayer.

Are you playing on a laptop with a trackpad? My game is working perfect since i plugged in a mouse. I hope this solves the problem for you too ;-)

i discovered: when the dices are not able to roll with mouse: just use return. works for me so far

I'm sorry that some of you are still experiencing this problem - we're looking into it, but are still unable to reproduce it ourselves.

If you are experiencing this issue, please PM me with details of your PC spec, the resolution you're running the game in, and the resolution you run Windows in. This may help us to pinpoint where the problem lies. Thank you for your patience.

ok, I can see this is an old issue...what's the resolution after all this time? I just sunk a respectable chunk of change into this bundle and it's time to roll the dice.... Would not just a simple redundancy like the "R" key be an awfully good idea??

Edit to add: seems to be an intermittent issue. Double-clicking worked almost consistently the first game I played. Why it gets stuck where no amount of clicking rolls the dice is a mystery to me. I have no reason to suspect there's any issue with my keyboard. Mouse cursor and Clue pad interface seems to be working fine.

Exiting game and resuming works, until the problem resurfaces.

same here, i have to quit n continue my game each time grrrr
2 years and it's still a problem, shame!

I think the problem is that clicking isn't supposed to roll the dice. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this game was designed for mobile, where you just swipe up on the screen to roll the dice.

When I am playing on PC, I just make that same motion with my mouse, click and drag up and release, and it rolls fine every time. I agree that this should have obviously been changed for the PC release, though, or at least have been made more clear.
