Would just open the door to more features veering off the standard design of the game, and then it wouldnt be Clue/Cluedo.
The ending scene idea sounds great, i would have liked to have seen more animations in the whole game tbh (animated player pieces etc).
Chat in MP sounds a great idea too, but as you say could open the door to abuse etc.
ahhh possibly would make cheating easy, (players could decide to work together), so i am not too sure on having chat.
For the themes, I'd LOVE to see other versions of Clue. Like the 1986 version or the 1992 version. There's really so main for them to pull from. But yeah the movie would be awesome! OR maybe a tie in with the new Clue reboot movie coming out soon.
Edit: Clue Discover The Secrets was Parker Brothers first modernized Clue.
Oh, and for the scratch pad, I like some of the ideas mentioned. For me, if nothing else, maybe a bit better or more noticible highlight to the player column and suggested item rows.
Zeppelin: Vintage airship like the Hindenberg. Also a tribute to the classic EA game "Murder on the Zinderneuf" if any of you guys are old enough to remember that game. The background would just be scrolling clouds, giving a sense of isolation aboard the airship.
Cruise Ship: Either another vintage scenario with a ship like the Titanic & Victorian era characters, or a modern ship with younger players on Spring Break. Out in the middle of the ocean, it creates another isolated setting.
Space Station: Yet more isolation as you're surrounded by the vastness of space. An international crew of astronauts in jumpsuits. Murderer gets flushed out the airlock. :P
Circus/Carnival: About what you'd expect. Mustard as the Strongman, Scarlett as the Lion Tamer, Plum as the Ringmaster, White or Peacock as an Acrobat, Green as the Clown, etc.
Just a few ideas. Hoping at least one of them was already thought of by the Developers.
Oh yeah when the game first launched on mobile over a year ago, they paid ALOT of attention to mobile users. They're great. All your ideas are awesome.
I know it's a traditional part of the original game, but it would be nice if - instead of accusing yourself - you flee the scene of the crime instead. Better yet, each turn you can secretly bump off another player. The surviving players need to figure out it was you and accuse you properly to end the game on a good note.
Makes more sense than claiming "I did it! In the Lounge with the Revolver! Mwuhahahaha....wait! Why am I telling you guys this?"
Being able to cross off a player once you know their hand is a good idea. Added to the list of potential future features.
We already have a "free notes" feature on this list.
Honestly, I'm not sure how much use it would be to see the bots' final notes, without being able to see the train of logic. I think it'd only really be useful if you could "replay" the game to see how they applied their logic - but that would be a huge feature.
I'd love to see Wadsworth too! It's a tricky situation because of the licensing rights involved. I can't make any promises, unfortunately.
Good ideas - we did actually consider having a "I confess..." speech bubble when you successfully accuse yourself, but it didn't make it in, and right now we're focusing more on quality of life features and UX improvements.
We are still considering chat, but it's a tricky one because of the issues you describe. An emote system is much less problematic, thus more likely.
I'm glad you're enjoying the game!
Some great ideas there!
For a more lively atmosphere...
Yes, a fast emote system will increase the life of the multiplayer by decreasing the feeling of weariness from players.
It's probably the feature we miss the most.
For free-note, it may slow down the multiplayer...
Just add more specifics mark/signs.
Better solution, give us the possibility to choose the color of the numbers accordingly to the one who asks.
"...these cards from group 3 were requested by this person...".
We don't need to have a free notes system..., just the numbers with colors choice and our memory to have all usefuls infos.
(I know Clue Master Detective also raised the total players and added alot more weapons but im just Suggesting the Board game map with alot more Rooms.) (12 Rooms)
A Caveman map in Dinosaur Period.
An old Medieval Village from Medieval times.
A toy themed map where characters are toys.
