TDM weapons seems to be awful
I am talking about the ones you can have after the season ended, I got the Drill + TDM, and it's really horrible.
24H cooldown, it apparently does not take funshot into account (don't know if this is true) do not give funshot, and in terms of durability it seems they have more (2800 at +0) but the normal drill does 8 durability loss on strong attack (the lunge forward one) but the + TDM one the same move take 48 durability, so it cost 6x as much durability for 2x more durability overall for the weapon and a one day cooldown, is it just there to clutter the already huge selection of items in the SpaceMustacheMan store ?

tdm weapons deal more dmg and have more dura then their regular counter part . but ONLY if u reached the reward weapon for being placed diamond rank . only then they are a game changer which is why its 24 hour cooldown . back in the day t3 was the highest rank a weapon could have , which is why many years ago your seemingly bad drill was actually a power house . also the weapon does not have higher dura loss , chances are u have had a multi hit . for example the machete can multi hit if theres a head attached to it . from a single dura loss can become 3-4 from just a single attack . everything that your weapon touches during its attack causes it to lose extra dura

I tried it 10 times(back to back with the +TDM and normal one), and the strong attack can't multi hit on this one, be it wall or screamer/hater, it's the same, I just find it odd that it use that much more durability per hit, otherwise it would have been fine

odd , seems i have been wrong then and just assumed , this must be an oversight of the dura design for that weapon . thank you for the information

unfortunetly the game is actually "dead"

but the moment they starting Pulling "meta" builds player and having them show up at floors they shouldn't... tdm weapons became pretty useless... a

and the game became would could spend more money and time in game

some floors actually have time players of 16 hours a day 7 days a week...

the time limits became hinderances...
as well as the item restrictions....

the devs became extremely lazy and the greatest game ever played became the greatist money pit and grind fest ever made...

im guess its why this game has less then say 100 active constant players...

I am aware that the endgame is slop content, their error was to bank on loss aversion, but by doing so a lot of ppl just quit, because who would want to play a roguelite where a run can last 20+ hours ? It is already infuriating with normal rogue games when you lose an hour and have to redo everything and go through section you already master and lose time.

It really is unfortunate, aside from tengoku, I really love this game a lot, I hope they'll do an offline version if or when they will close the servers, being able to mod elevator each 50F with a big hard quest is a better alternative in my head, plus a big kama nerf :)

But let's get back to the subject of TDM weapons, I guess they are a relic of the past, they were probably good before all of this "endless content", but not now, this is what I think is true

Drill takes different durability loss from its attacks at different upgrade tiers. It should be consistent if you compare it to the same tier.

I don't even understand where some of your complaining is coming from considering that the further in you are the less valuable the microtransactions become. This is a grind game and no amount of money will ever let you skip the grind.
Also the shop cooldowns are literally never a real issue unless you're overly reliant on a single weapon, which is never a good idea in the first place. A diverse arsenal will take you far. Branch out and learn some more weapons and you'll understand.

I do disagree, I played heavily with the drill, and every tier of the normal drill take the same amount of low durability 8, but the tdm+ take 48, of course I don't have T4 drill yet, but if it happen that they nerfed it, they are everything but wise.

Ok just checked the wiki, you are right, it seems the durability loss is tripled meaning it should take 24 durability, so the tdm+ who have x2 durability does not because it double the already tripled durability loss, I don't understand their balancing in any capacity, because the drill is fun but far from that powerful since there is no follow up, hopefully the spike crusher take the same low durability but have a 2 follow up(3 damage with the explosion thing) with one who can put the enemy on the ground if timed well, but it does broke my heart, since the 10 the drill was my go to weapon for longevity
