How do I wipe my progress and restart?

Been a LONG time since I played. I barely remember the game, wanted to give it a go again but I just logged in and have NO idea what I am doing. I have a mid level character. Can't remember weapons, decals etc .. just a big confusing mess. Need to restart and relearn the game.

Honestly this is the single biggest mistake 90% of 'online' games make .. they don't consider the returning player and how to get them back up to speed on the game. Hell, even something as simple as the ability to rerun a tutorial where everything is explained again,

It doesn't appear I can have more than one character .. so I will lose my progress .. but I don't see any other way to get back into the game

As much as I know, you cannot reset your stuff. Progress is tied with your steam account. You have to make another one if you want to start from the beginning.

I got back into the swing of it after shelving it for a few years by buying a fresh collector-class fighter then jumping naked into the tower from the very bottom. No armor, no weapons, no shrooms, nothing. Everything started coming back to me after a couple floors, and I was leveling up a new bag of blood for the meat grinder and getting some R&D materals all the while. Win-win.

You can read everything the tutorial tells you in the guide book thingy found in the menu. Honestly don't see why you'd restart, there's no real benefit and the game is based around grindy progress. If a fresh "noob" experience is what you seek, I would just create a tier one fighter and head into the tower naked as suggested above.
