Is it just me Or are a lot Of weapons kind of useless?

For example: Nail gun does really low damage for the amount of ammo it has.

Or the claw, it seems to break after 20 normal swings.

I find there are some weapons (like the nailgun) that I don't like to craft, but am happy to pick up mid run and waste all the ammo for a few easy kills.

Yeah I agree on that but I also normally go in with plenty of spare weapons since I buy them on cooldown, but, I've noticed there are certain weapons that absolutely aren't worth the fee..

Every weapon has some limitations but they all get better and are usable with mastery and with upgrades. Still, if you don't like a weapon much, don't focus on it's upgrades, work on weapons you like first.

Claw is great for raiding if it's the only poison weapon you have. But yeah, a lot of the early game weapons don't even compare to fist damage. xD

I've found Nailgun to be incredibly good later on: just remember it scales on DEX, not STR. It won't do much good in the hands of your STR character, but 2* Nailguns were how I defeated GOTO on 23F for the first time. It also has the most ammo of any ranged weapon in the game(150 if you buy it fresh), so if I wanted to go farm green metals in the 1X floors, I just kill all the enemies with one or two nails on a Shooter character, and the kill the bosses in less then 10.

(Edit: It also has one of the fastest shooting times of any ranged weapon, bar the KAMAS.)

sure there are some wpns better than others but imo you can use every wpn ^^ i like range wpns and wpns like the chopper ... other ppl. prefer the machete or spear, axe, etc. ... i think its from player to player different
