Game not launching

After this most recent update the game isn't launching for me anymore. What gives?

no issues here but i read you need to run let it die with admin privileges

1 guy verifed game files. He missed 4, probably after update. He downloaded and game works. Try the same.

did verification 10 times all ok...try to put admin privilege...try to put exception on antivirus....nothing game gives always error code 12030 can't start the game...

This happened to me after the update too, fixed it by excluding the game's folder from my antivirus.

really guys i have the same problem error code 12030 i dont know how to fix it. the problem is the devolping team didnt replay yet.

Do we have any news about this issue? I have done most of the steps in the troubleshooting here and in other posts. Only thing i have done so far is reinstall the game.It will take long to redownload and i dont think it will fix it. What was added to the update that messed it up? I never had issues with previous patches

I see,i was almost certain it wouldnt help. It seems like something is forcing the application to stop loading when i try to start the game.
Its a shame,i am missing all the log in bonuses from the 2 year anniversery event. Thank god i didnt use my Express pass last time i logged in before the dreaded patch :(

Try updating the Windows system update. Friends who have this situation can play because of this.

That was the case for the last major patch. And installing that windows update (back in time before this current patch) did make the game work. However, this is now the next patch after that issue and the game broke while that windows update was already installed.

I'm hoping the devs aren't restricting play to only people with legit windows because some windows 7 machines gltich out of being genuine even if it was legit paid for. I have a new windows 10 key waiting in case this is true though....

That would be a really stupid move by them, there's more people willing to buy death metal than to buy a windows OS.
