So visual mods seem like a possible reality

Simply by going by this post. If this is something to look forward to what kind of visual mods would you go for?

Personally i wouldn't mind turning some of the sets into a knight armor like dark souls for the heck of it (and obvious souls like feel) or a full on pinstripe suit 20s/30s gangster feel.

Maybe turn some of the weapons into some serious and fun references.

Also considering the immense amount of music in this game, adding our own might end up possible....

The point is that they don't outright dam mods and make it clear they dont mind mods at all as long as they don't affect the game mechanically.

So basically, no official mod support but simple visual mods and say music mods would fall under acceptable.

As long as I can play with Reshade and not get a ban, I'm happy. I can't live without it anymore. It just makes everything so much better. I can't even look at the washed out blurry mess that Monster Hunter World was. So much more vibrant and clear. This game already looks pretty good, but better is..better haha.

I don't imagine that they would release this game with PS4 graphics on PC, that would be just insane. Especially since the requirements they claim are like 4x higher than PS4 was even capable of putting out.

I want a mod that will uncap or extend the framerate cap. I also want a mod that automatically reduces the graphical fidelity on load screens for faster load times.

You can uncap by flicking vsync on and off when you start the game. Unless you mean something else.

That's not what Vsync does, vsync doesn't cap your frame rates it makes it so that your screen doesn't tear, basically it gives you the most optimal frame rates for your particular monitor. So lets say your monitor can only handle 60fps, it will run it at 60fps, but if your monitor can handle 120fps it will run it at 120fps. Vsync prevents the top middle and bottom of your monitor from being disaligned. What he's talking about is actually not a mod hes asking for something that would have to be a patch for the game itself, frame rates are based not only on your hardware but also on the games software, they makers of the game have to give this game the capability to go above certain frame rates otherwise regardless of how much your system can push the game will always stay at the maximum amount of what the devs originally designed it for. The real issue is that games on the PS4 are usually designed specifically for 60fps, which is why he's probably only hitting 60fps when he can actually hit much higher.
