First Red Napalm Nightmare Kill ( Aftermath questions)
Hiya people, i've just successfully killed Red Napalm on Nightmare for my first time and i have a couple of questions:

- Does Kamas Re works well on her? if so, do you think that uncapped +7 would be enough to shred her?

- Is there any way to predict her invincibility frames? ( i've noticed in some occasions she completely avoided rage move damage while under the effect of the cat eye shroom).


I've beaten her with uncapped TDM Bowling +7, 7 Cat eye shrooms, 2 lifeshrooms, 2 golden Rat shrooms, 4 of the normal ones and 4 stingshrooms, It has been very expensive ( but worth it cause head blueprint, that sadly i didn't need because i'm planning to buy the Iron eagle re soon + season DM/mega splattershroom quests)

I'm planning to Shred her with the Kamas RE +7, stingshrooms and Dragonshrooms (though i'm missing 2 9048 before i'm able to uncap, i have all the war purple ready though), do you think this strategy would be fast and viable?

I have access to a Rank 6 Shooter ( 288 base Dex) with Osok, Superalloy,Barbarian and Five leaf clover ( 20% crit)

First, congrats! :2018bestaward: It's a really difficult fight at this level.

You could have looked up the stats of her armor in a wiki. She's resistant to piercing damage and weak to blunt and electric. That's why the bowling ball is the best choice if you have a striker. If you have a shooter, then the best choice is Thor's Wand and/or Pitching Machine. Thor's Wand is great because it creates an electric sphere when the arc is touching the enemy, so you can attack her easier when she's invisible. And the pitching machine's rage attack is cheap and knocks her down. Plus you can use the dragonshrooms for unlimited ammo too.

KAMAS is suboptimal, but might work if you have decals to increase damage in order to compensate for her resistance. I don't have KAMAS, so can't say for sure.

Edit: OSOK does nothing for Forcemen - you can't headshot them.

Well, with Dexterity like that it's no surprise. :steammocking:

Today I had my first easy Red Napalm fight on Nightmare - and Dexterity was around 400, while Vitality was around 120. But it's a totally different ballgame when your Dexterity is around 300.

Yes, I got it. It's definitely possible with the weapons I listed, but I can't say about the KAMAS.

If that OSOK is a premium, I'd swap it for something else. Even something like Tank or Military Enthusiast would help (if you have all WE armor). You also can eat Toughstrooms after Stingshrooms.

Edit: another good option is the Saber - but you need a second weapon to bring her out of invisibility.

Got her my 2nd try so 300 dex -ish is feasible.
I used red stingshrooms and umbrella ribs, but I used them poorly.

Did you need stingshrooms when you had 3 damage decals? Crushrooms could be a better choice. Or use stingshrooms + toughsrooms. Normally what people do is eat all stingshrooms/crushtrooms/toughshrooms in the beginning, behind an obstacle.

Yeah, until dex is uncapped you'll need shrooms and decals emphasizing Crit chance. Shrooms are easy to find next to the elevator on f30; find more and cook them on f20.

Yesterday i've made a bit of research after reading his answer and yes, it hurts.

Thank you again for the advice, i think i'll try first with shrooms and Kamas +8 ( since i already have them) and see how it goes, at least i'll have a backup plan if it doesn't work :nadiahappy:
