Question about Black Thunder on nightmare

can i use normal stingshrooms(yellow ones) on him? im trying to beat him with the kamas

Dunno, but red is more than enough for him.
Go to F11 MAKA TSUTSUMI or to F13MOMOHARA(from F12UKONGAOKA) - they're pretty common there.
by common i mean there are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of scorpions usually
Grab some and kill him. When fight starts eat one(you must eat right at the very beggining, so you won't be affected by his wave) and then just keep the distance. You don't even need to worry about juggler decal, because when you reload he's kinda buggin'( i guess) and can even jump backwards.

yeah i was afraid cuz i got destroyed on my 1st attempt today lol.im trying to get the lucky star fighter. but the stategy im using is this
1. 2 kamas uncapped in inventory
2. candlewolf set
3. eat umbrella
4. immediatly walk backwards while eating
5. hide
6. eat 5 red stingshrooms
7. eat 5 dragonshrooms
8. eat 1 lifeshroom
9. shoot
got 3 wins 1 defeat so far

My Kamas is only +8, so I honestly think I will go with Static Massager against Black Thunder, it's basically the same strategy, his electric weakness is even bigger than his piercing weakness, so I imagine that I end up doing even more damage to him. Right now I'm stuck with Red Napalm/Nightmare tho... I destroyed her in Hard, with Ghastly Pitching Machine, but I always end up dying when she enter in the last stage of invisibility and there are no covers, because my piercing resistence sucks.... damn!! I suppose GPM would be good against BT too, by the way, he is kinda weak to blunt damage

my kamas is +9 im playing with an attcker(dex 276+44 Luk 42) Decals : Barbarian, OSOK, AR addict,Serial Killer(cant remove) and 2 five-leaf clover

Static Massager is pretty good but i prefer the kamas because i can keep my distance

For Red Napalm:
1. 2 kamas uncapped in inventory
2. war ensemble set
3. immediately walk towards the pillar
4. wait for her to reload and then punish she will go invisible afterwards
5. eat 5 red stingshrooms
6. eat 5 dragonshrooms
7. eat 1 lifeshroom
8. Locate her (blind fire until u locate her or try to peek and listen)
9. eat 1 cateye(bring at least 3 just to be safe)
10. shoot(focus on those headshots if u can)

Have you tried the rage move on the GPM? You should have enough time to activate it when she runs away.

Of course it's a better idea to use something else to bring her out of invisibility. I'm using Thor's Wand S.

All my BT fails came from trying to gobble down shrooms. Found it's better to learn his attack range and whiff punish with Thors Wand +10-12, second touch will stun lock him and literally melt his face in under 30sec. Bit anticlimatic but still incredibly satisfying

For black thunder you don't need that CW armour imo, assault force + kamas (hope you obtain sweet Happy Trigger decal) should be more then enough. Because, in perfect conclusion you won't get any hits from him at all.
I've tried a thor wand S for him as well (uncapped +12), but that's just too dangerous on not uncapped 6-stars fighters - if you catch wrong moment with cateye shroom - he use his wave and immediately stop the effect of it. Plus, he can't be hitted while doing this. PLUS HE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ START SPAMMING HIS WAVE LIKE A ♥♥♥♥♥♥ every time you eat a cateye shroom after things mentioned before happens.

For red napalm you need your BEST armour(as high as you can get) and GPM. Or bowling.
1 red stingshroom + 1 dragonshroom + 1 umbrella rib fungus. Everything as Frost say - hide behind pillar - eat everything, use rage move. Most important thing is that she gonna use that damn wave tho and if you fail block she run away and become invisible immediately. Or maybe even punish you, lol.

Fun thing with thor wand S. I use it against her couple of times(with umbrella rig) and sometimes when your invisibility ends she catch a bug in which she walks toward invisible wall and do nothing untill you kill her.

What I've been using for BT is a pair of shurikens, coupled with a red stingshroom and Silver Heart. The regular attack counters Medusa's Head and stuns him relatively fast - and then you can stand right next to him and use the rage move a few times. Later on I tried a shuriken plus Thor's Wand.

I've seen something similar happen with other weapons too. She just stays stunned.

I wish one of seasons will be rewarded as TDM shuriken so i can try that too.

I don't think they ever offered one of the seasonal weapons as a TDM reward, did they?

And, yeah, the shuriken is pretty cool - except I don't know if it's actually among the best options for BT. It's great for bone and reversal tubers, and the screamer boss room in Tengoku. It's a bit more complicated for BT, and it took me a while to actually start using it. First of all, a single shuriken isn't enough - you'll just counter the Medusa's Head and it takes a while to return. So you need two - and throw them one after another. But you need to be careful because the range isn't huge. And you need a lot of stamina to use two of them, especially if you're dodging. So you need at least one Silver Heart decal. Early on, when I was doing the Umbrella Rib thing, I was eating one Staminungus in addition to other shrooms. Then it's doable. But I didn't have many other Candle Wolf options - until I got Thor's Wand as a TDM reward.

TDM rewards are variations of a weapon. It may be possible that eventually there could be a tdm version of shuriken which would bypass the whole waiting for the miracle of it coming back, or having to buy it with dms.

As for any forcemen, a stunlock method would be just as valuable as a quick kill method, though I would bet that not all of them can truly be stunned.
