Game starts you off w/ enough credits to unlock everything you'd want

Why did they do this? I boot up the game for the first time and I have 22,800 credits, each costume costs anywhere from 1,000 - 3000 credits. There is zero reason to grind this game. There are no rewards. This breaks from literally every single fighting game out there where you are actually incentivised to play by a catalog of unlocks to work through.
This is enough to grab all the best looking costumes right off the bat.

Are there other costumes etc that unlock when you beat the story mode with each character like the old DOA games?

As far as I'm aware this is basically just a party game. It doesn't really feel like it's meant to be taken seriously as a fighting game so much as more just be a fun thing to play at parties and/or while drunk with friends.

I guess I was hoping I could grind for costumes like the old DOA games, I would never tell my friends I have this game lol, theyre all normies
