On Journey of Life, my game seems to be stuck on the loading screen.

I open up Journey of Life and it continuously stays on the loading screen, I waited an hour, still nothing. One time it did load into the actual game hhowever it froze and I could not do nything sand I was forced to close it. I want to know the reason why this is happening and if others' are having the same issue.

Did it freeze on loading save game or starting up the game? That's crucial info for me to fix it

While the loading screen does not actually freeze, the animation is very slow. Once after hours of waiting it did oad up, but the interface did not move. I could not move my mouse, I could not even look around so I was forced to use task manaer to close it.

I'm having the same issue, stuck on loading screen on both continue and load game. When it does not freeze it crashes with a fatal error message. I'm running version V08562. I've tried running through steam launcher and by just opening the application on my desktop, which also i assume opens steam launcher.

I had the same issue. It even broke Steam and took my computer hours to recover. I noticed it was using memory like I have never seen before. Maybe a major memory link. Not even sure my computer is back to normal yet. I lost my game because I cannot load it up anymore.

All the issues started as soon as I hit level 3 settlement and two settler arrived on the docks. They would not respond to me so I reloaded which I could not do.

This game is broken.

Even if you use the work around to load up the game you realize that the new settlers are the problem. I had to kill them because they are a serious memory issue.So that is when I realized the game is broken. I was looking forward to having settler.
