i cant believe another good game was ruing by the devs and abandoned this game had so much potential. out of the 100 plus survival games i had this one was one i was looking forward to putting alot of time into....i wish steam would stop allowing broken games and broken devs to be a part of steam

On Discord the dev says he's going to continue but is delayed for a reason he claims we wouldn't understand. Who knows, business problems, personal problems, all just speculation at this point if the dev won't meaningfully communicate with us.

Too bad, the game has amazing potential in my opinion.

Yeah, its got a lot of potential to be a really good game. It just needs the dev to work on it.
This game is a rarity, a pretty realistic crafting game that doesnt abstract the process too much like the vast majority of crafting games.

I just reloaded the game yesterday and the new version is almost unplayable. Sad to see what happened with the update.

Yeah, better to spend money on "The Fountain of Youth", a game with a similar scenario where your on one of many islands and trying to survive while discovering the legendary Fountain of Youth. It's in EA and is WAAAAYYYYYYY better than what this game turned into. I'm writing this game off as a bad investment and sticking with something that actually works.

• There are more than 12,000 Early Access games on STEAM - (Game Stats Data Services | Early Access)

• Early Access games account for approximately 40% of all games on STEAM - (Game Stats Data Services | Early Access)

• On average 90% or more of all STEAM Early Access games FAIL, primarily due to "poor-quality" - (Game World Observer | Pros and Cons of Early Access | 28 Jul, 2023)

In other words, STEAM Early Access marketplace environment has become a multi-billion-dollar, statistically guaranteed 'Lose-Lose' for the unsuspecting Customer, and his or her money!

2) A Mandatory Free To Play Demo — on all games sold by STEAM

3) A Mandatory STEAM & Game Developer Public Business Plan & Timeline — on all Early Access games sold by STEAM

A reinvestment of the proceeds into the game's development would have provided for the employment of a Game Creative Director (with a background in Game Programming & Agile Methodology), and the employment of one additional Game Programmer ... but that NEVER happened ?

Had the proposed 'STEAM & Game Developer Public Business Plan & Timeline' (above) existed in 2021, Journey Of Life (Alpha Stage) game would have been finished in a timely manner, or would have been delisted !
