CAMPFIRE
i know it may be a silly question but how do i use the firestarter thingy,...think i have tried just about everything, , puttintg it in hand etc, but nothing working...any help appreciated and thanks in advance..also keep dying even though have 94 health etc...very strange

Camp fire round white circle stays white. I have plenty HD rock, click on craft, get a white circle of rocks. Tried to drop HD rocks on it but circle stays white? Help please.

Discovered: Use hammer to beat white ring and it works.

Discovery Drinking!
Do this. Use pick mine clay. Make clay pot. Does NOT need curing by fire. Go in stream clay pot in HAND. RAISE CAMERA view over shoulder. Right clicks to fill pot. Mouse over pot shows water level. Left clicks to drink. I got 250 full before stopping. Works.

Discovery, food.
Made stone spear. Hunt boar. I used "left shift" plus "W" to run after it. Left clicks to stab till killed. Use left clicks to butcher. Got 2 meat and 2 lard. Lay them down by fire. Put 1 meat in fire to cook. Does not burn. Use "hand" to pick up. Left click to eat. Works.

Update. Since 9.0.5 the spear no longer harvest meat. Darn it. I can't find any tool that will harvest meat as of now. Also meat does not cook so just eat it raw.

Hey

You can harvest meat with an axe or knife.

About meat, you need to place it near the fire and it needs to reach 200 degrees to start cooking, You will see color of meat changes as it goes
