They might already be there..I haven't explored much of the island yet. But it would be cool to see some of the turtles wandering on the beach too and not just swimming in the ocean. :)

That actually sounds really cool :D

Would it be possible to add an option to adjust the brightness/gamma? I don't mind a game being dark during the evenings/nights, when I am just playing myself, but videos tend to turn out darker than the actual game, so most often as a Youtuber you have to play/record with the game a little brighter than you normally would.

Im not sure whats been suggested before so I will just jump in head first and appologise for any duplications.

First off, I think full mapping of a keyboard is really important so you can set any button where you like it.
The start of the game needs some sort of hint system to get you started in the right direction.
Its confusing to just jump straight into it.

I dont think the backpacks have enough slots, some hard core players will like that but alot wont, maybe having the easy, medium ,hard settings effect how many slots you get in backpacks would work to keep it so anyone can play it anyway they like.

The games starting biome is beautiful, I ran around for a bit and it looks like Im on an island, does the map have caves at all ?
I went for a swim but theres pretty much no underwater assets yet that I can see other than a few fish, will be interesting to see what you put in there over time.

Now crafting, the GUI system for crafting itself isnt so bad, but the way you get recourses is pretty strange, by just standing on a rock texture when you open GUI screen it shows different rocks, on grass it shows sticks etc, something like that anyway, I find that type of collection of recourses pretty boring to be honest, it would be much better to actually have these items as real assets in the world to find in my opinion, I havent read a whole lot about he game , maybe theres plans for that later ?

I also find it strange I cant pick a single banana without a knife, I have many banana trees in my back yard !
The banana tree in the game is a nice obvious source of food early, like that.

Theres no real hint of a storyline or anything yet, are you looking for ideas for the story or do you have a story already created that needs details filling in ?

How do I make machines like in that little video I watched ?
Ive made an axe, very cool model of the axe, but is there a creative mode or command to allow us to build and experiment with building much faster ?

Really dislike that you have to stop and open a GUI screen to pick things up, when you chop a tree down you see the logs but have to open GUI to actually pick them up, I really hope theres plans to change that so these items are in the world to be picked up without opening a GUI screen, like most games do it.

On the first day theres not enough time to make an axe and then make fire before it gets so dark you cant see a thing as a new player with no hint system that jump straight into games, that will drive alot to rage quit.
Unfortunately alot of those type people will write a bad review for the experience, alot of people dont really understand what there getting into when they buy an EA game on Steam or how long a good game takes to develope on a small developer team.

Maybe a few slightly glowing trees or trees with glowing fruit could help there, some fireflies and firefly nests, maybe even go so far as a firefly lantern if you catch them and make a jar.
Craftable light for early game, that only lasts the night or two.

Im having real difficulty constantly opening the GUI to pick things up is my biggest dislike.

Cant find an acia leaf anywhere to make a bigger backpack, little frustrating, run all over island maybe I missed it, but it got dark and now Im standing waiting for daylight to move again.

The graphics are nice, more options will be nice in the future, right now its early days so its expected a short render range is in place, the render range in this game is good, but it distorts stuff as if its in the distance when its not so much in the distance making the picture blury in places it shouldnt be, that range needs increasing alot so everything near you is crisp and clear.
Distortion kicks in way to close.

Game has alot of potential , the settings lovely, character moves freely and fluently is nice, alot of games stuff that up, swimming I find a little slow but all things get adjusted over time, all in all it should turn into a good fun game if it gets a cool story added to it.

Toss in some ancient ruins and a spooky story, maybe a little Indiana Jones game play with some mystery and puzzle solving and you have a potential gem on your hands.

I actually prefer just jumping right in...it's a survival game, so I don't really need to be pointed in any direction. It's up to me or you or whoever plays, where they wanna go and set up base and of course along the way explore the map and figure out, where to find the resources that are needed for crafting.

I do agree that the backpack seems to small. I know that we can craft using whatever lies nearby, but that is only really handy, when you have everything back at your base. Or at least make the stacks bigger. It seems weird to only be able to carry 4 bananas for instance (before you have a backpack.

The machines aren't in the game yet...we are still waiting for that update.

Hmm I haven't played in a bit because I am waiting for that update, but you can just pick stuff off the ground...with E I think it was, if I remember correctly.

The ones for the backpack are alocacia leaves, but they are very close to where you start out. Lower plants with big green fern like leaves are the ones you are looking for.

Hey
Thanks for report

- You should be able to change all keys in options..if some of the options are writing (None) you need to restart keys by clicking DEL and it will put to base keys.

- There will be a lot of backpacks..this is primitive one made out of wood and leaves..so it has a lower number of slots.

- Yea ..map that's is on steam currently have mine only on the second island..but I've made caves and mine on starting one in the new update ..but I didn't post yet ..finish up certain things.
- But I've completely remade map so everything is the same quality.

- Basically you don't need to open UI to collect item..you have only nearby in inventory and that's not planned to use for searching things basically..its imagined for using it when crafting so you don't need to pick up every item separately..but you should be able to come to item on floor and pick it up with ( E )

- I'm gonna need to make more tutorials and things like that I agree on that

-U still cant make machines as that's coming in new update 0.0.7(If everything will be oke it will be today) including fruits combined with plants so you don't need to search separately and cut them separately

- Yea basically I have a story but I don't have everything to implement it yet.
- Idea was that you were overburdened with bills and life so you decided to go live in nature so you don't need to pay power, water etc

Let me know if I missed something

Regards

- Adriano

Like the sound of the story, that opens the door to finding developing all sorts of farm tech, maybe explore ideas for suprises in the game, something special that makes this games story stand out over other survival games, alot of survival games seriously lack any story and fail to put you ''in'' the game, they dont feel very immersive basically.

A Mayan temple hidden deep in a forest long forgotten.

An old crashed 747 jet never found from a couple of decades ago.

An old ancient mine and underground city.

A WW2 military bunker full of risk !

Homage to Planet of the Apes with a statue of Ape Lincoln !

Long lost log cabins from the pioneers that built the country.

I assume were in Africa considering theres Elephants running around, consider a story that brings all animals together, a disaster that maybe kills of society as we know it, and hundreds of animals escape our zoos, that allows for the story to be set in many different countries and then you can talor it to that setting.

Do you have assets to build houses and buildings for the game ?
Looking for builders ?

Sounds promising mate.

No Zombies ! LOL ! Just had to add that !

Easy now, mate. The update is on its way. I would rather that he takes the time to test things some more instead of rushing out half-arsed updates.
HyperionStudio May 31, 2018 @ 8:35am
I've changed every plant model in the game.
So I need to also change all leaves and all cuttable.
I needed to remade whole map..work with prog on new content..fix old bugs and lot more
You are not even aware how much job is done for this update.. I know I promised It will come soon..but a few things don't depend only on me ..and as my old prog left me I needed to find new one ...from 3 people who tried only 1 was capable to work with me.
I can post an update now but probably half things won't work properly.
We fixed socket bug..only thing left is saving a time of day.

After that almost everything thats reported is fixed. Also chest will be added again and its working properly now :)

Pls have little more patience and i promise it will worth it

Thanks

Make a roadmap, maybe something simple, like rising world did:
https://www.rising-world.net/en/page/more/features.html
No need for exact dates and deadlines on that list.
People need to find what they support if they buy the game now.
