Lost my key code !

How do i get my key code?

If you've played the game from the same windows installation previously do this:

1. Start > search programs and files > regedit
2. Open that then right click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, then click find
3. Search for 'codkey' no caps no spaces without the apostrophes
4. What comes up is your key code, open up cod4 and go options > multiplayer options > enter key code and put the code that the codkey says in there, then verify

This is on Windows 7 64 bit, so if you're on vista or XP I'm not sure if the process is the same or not

Which OS are you using? and is it 32 or 64 bit?

I have been playing CoD for a long time with no problems.As i am playing it everyday, today it was the same.But when i wanted to play it after break again, i meet a problem.When i wanted to join any server, it say's that i have to retype my CD Key and i coudn't find it anywhere.I tried via "regedit" and it's not showing anywhere codkey.I tried with right clicking on the CoD icon in my steam while i am logged in, and i remember earlier there was buttom that was showing the game key like "View game CD key" and for now there isn't that option anymore.Any help please?Thank you.
