Black Screen on Startup

I launch the game the thing pops up goes black and plays sound

I got a 7950 3gb

help?

that happen to me when i play gmd some time,what i do is rest start steam and re-download the game

Update your GPU drivers, also reinstall DirectX. If nothing so far helped you, enable stereo mix from the Control Panel or just add a mic.

I set it all up, updated reinstalled and added the stereo mix still nothing

I have my mic plugged in, I have all my drivers updated, have stero mix on, and verified the game

If the problem exists, completely reinstall both Steam and the game.
