Punkbuster kicked me. "No Packet Flow"

You should reinstall punkbuster. Download exe-file from official pb site

make sure you have latest punkbuster. you have to manually install it. also no packet flow can mean your firewall, anti virus, router whatever is blocking punkbuster. so make sure you allow punkbuster on all your things.

not really lol. as cod4 you can cheat in it. they just play in the non punkbuster servers. and even punkbuster was not the best at detecting cheats. it mostly relied on server admin to ban a player and report that player to punkbuster with video, and then if punkbuster admin felt the person was cheating, they would add that person to there list. and when servers would update with that list, if the player tried to join a server with punkbuster, it would not allow them and say they are banned.

so pretty much active admins of servers did the work. which servers can ban players anyways regardless of punkbuster or not. there are decent non punkbuster servers out there as well. just if no admin are on, the server can get over ran by hackers. why i like to play in punkbuster servers as a lot of those hackers are already reported.

huh? funny cause the games that use punkbuster are the ones that you can find many servers without a cheater in. most of the cheaters are in non punkbuster servers. (or in mw3). it works great specially once you get everything taken care of and fixed. which most of the kicks from punkbuster are simple fixes.

packet loss normally has to do with your punkbuster being outdated and so you need to update. or your anti virus, or firewall (which most ppl have a ton of firewalls) but someone missing one and it not allowing punkbuster. firewalls most have with every anti virus, windows has its own, and most of your routers and modems have there own as well.

other issues can be server related. like them having certain rules and computer configs. some servers you have to have your fov (field of view) set to 65 or less. a lot of players like it to be at 90 or so. so if its not set to 65 or less you can end up with a punkbuster kick if they are a punkbuster server.

or kicked in general with a warning why you were kicked. other servers you just get kicked for like if its a snipers only and you use a pistol or other gun. it will auto kick then.

a lot of ppl i think are having issues cause they go the game from steam and figured it would just play. when you must go to punkbuster site and manually download and update that way.
