CD Key in Use

When I enter a CoD4 server it loads and says: "CD Key in Use. Please try again later." If anyone knows how to fix that pls tell me.

try to reboot computer first? there are a couple things. either someone has your key code and is using it. as only 1 can be online at a time (but you can use 1 key for how many computers to lan party). but only 1 online. they might have gotten it then from a key gen or something.

or it was the glitch deal that would happen now and then. you log in. normally are able to play a game. and then the game freezes, shuts down, or whatever. then you go to play the next game and it still thinks you are in a game. i believe you had to reboot computer to clear this or wait for a while. can google it as it was a common thing.

this was a fix someone else said.

I found the fix.
I went into 'regedit' searched 'codkey' and deleted the file.
When i went back in to cod4 it just put in a new code for me and i clicked verify and it worked.

no prob, hope it helped and worked. hopefully it was the glitch and not someone else having the same key.
