How to see ALL Cod4 servers

1. Download xfire classic: http://classic.xfire.com/download/
2. Make an account and log in (Change theme to default)
3. Xfire detects all games automatically.
4. click on the 2 monitor screens icon.
5. on "All" double click on the game and all servers would roll out.Just single click on any sever to look at the players and all the information. Simply double click on it to join.

6. There is a technical issue with using xfire in-game for cod4 sometimes so it's best to disable it in game (left-shift stops registering in-game and you can't use it)
- To disable it
options ---> games ---> click on cod4 ----> Check "disable in-game"


EDIT: So apparently, that's not all servers that are visible. However, it's the best you can do as of yet.

Well holy crap, that works! So how does a third party program work, and the game itself not? Makes no sense. Loads 2388 servers on my list. Seems to load cracked servers as well, so that seems a bit odd.

@tactictoe: I'll get on it :D We should get people to play more often. I am a big fan of software SnD and have a server dedicated to just that. Have yet to install b3 on it though.

He's not. There havent been that many active servers in AGES. My last good refesh showed just shy of 3,000 servers. He grossly over exaggerates the player count as well. Consistently claiming there to be thousands playing. When it is hundreds at best. Only thing I can think of, is some how his numbers are showing the hundreds of fake bots used by server admins to help try to seed their servers. These fake connecting bots are used to boost the count, then when you connect it re-directs you to some other server.

Bottom line, there are not nearly that many servers or players that he boasts. Just like every server he plays on there are never any hackers. The plain of existence he lives in is completely different that that of ours.

It appears you dont have to use the classic xfire installer if you dont want to. the newer xfire loads all the servers as well.

That's very true. However, classic xfire is much more managable and easy on the user interface department. There isn't "too much" going on. The new xfire in my opinion is confusing and off putting. I have tried both and classic is way better.

i have xfire installed but when i start it up it stops responding. I'm giving it a couple minutes to see if it does anything.

edit: also when i try to register and hit submit the website goes completely white and doesn't load.

Uninstall it completely and re-install it. uninstall all the user files pertaining to your xfire as well.

every time i try to create an account on xfire it just tells me that there's a bad gateway or unknown error. Will this still work without an account?

I tried joing a server but it says "server is a different version". Anyone know how to resolve this?
