DirectX Error
Whenever i try to launch the game, the square box with the soldier comes up, it stays in that for about 10 seconds, then an error window pops up saying "DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error". Ive uninstalled the game and reinstalled, same message. PLEASE HELP

Done it, still get the same error

Ahhh it doesnt matter now, i had somehow deactivated my graphics card. Thanks anyway

Btw, a similar Error message can appear, if you do not have installed the drivers for your soundcard (ex. onboard audio from Realtek without installing its proper drivers from the mainboard support CD or downloaded from the support website of your mainboard manufacturer). Sometimes this error disappear, if you plug a microphone in (or something that fits into the jacket, like another headset). This error was solved on my computer by installing the drivers for my mainboard.

In this case, my directx error relates to directx audio.
