Of the two CoD4 is a much more enjoyable experience.
I played CoD 4 a lot last few years and then I saw MW2 on sale..
I played MW2 120+ hours on Steam, found some new friends to play with and had fun..
But I think you should get CoD 4 1st because you can join any server online (custom and community)..
on MW2 there are no community servers, it's the player who hosts the game (one with best internet)... Mostly hackers will come in lobby and become host......
I liked MW2 a lot, but I really recommend you to get COD 4 especially cuz of that community servers thing...
Next COD sale I'm getting COD 4... xD
actually this is not correct. cod4 is the original modern warfare game. cod 1 is the first cod game but not modern warfare.
cod 4 is modern warfare (mw), then you have mw2 and mw3.
cod4 has a lot of players still. and many mods for it. so it has by far the most maps and stuff for any cod game and they are free.
i like the things mw2 brought as far as how the game is. killstreaks etc were a nice thing as well. but the p2p matchmaking system was a horrible move.
if not decided i say cod4 first. then go from there.
Modern Warfare 2 for trickshotters and bad matchmaking system.
great to hear that. i have had it since it came out and still have lots of fun playing.
