Any tips and tricks for better aim?

Ive been playing this game for the past week and I cant seem to get great aim. Im good I close corner combat with hipfire and im great with the red-dot sight but those damned iron sights man I have some trouble. Also what screws me up, is the damn toggled sprint like what the f**k!? Thanx Chu four yo time (smiley face).

70% of my hours come from practicing on singleplayer, I dont know why but I suck and I just wanted to hear how you guys play to see different techniques.

Practicing in singleplayer won't do much for you since players don't act like bots. Just jump in multiplayer. You'll improve over time.

Plus single player does not have the lag. If you do well with red dot then practice. Just need to get used to iron sites.

Find a server you like. Good servers have regulars. You get to know them and gain new friends.

You can use rifles like m16, m4, g3, m14.

With iron sights?

Yeah, just do what that guy said. I'm just now getting this game for the PC but for my console version that's how I got better. It all comes down to putting the time in.

Yes those rifles have iron sites. M14 is a lot like a semi auto sniper rifle. M16 does a 3 round burst which is my fav weapon. You can slightly lead and then shoot. Usually you can get a hit with at least 1 of the 3 rounds.

Thanks for saying that out loud... I once thought that would help for better mouse precision.
But unfortunatly I turn off everything I could find that affected my mouse in a negative way long before that comment. Thanx

Ive looked for a way to customize my scope to iron but I dont see it as an unlockable or anything

Come out on the RAID fun server (high jump) its a blast. I like servers with about 20 players max. More than than and all you do is spawn get killed repeat. As far as shooting I sprint a lot but when will crouch and bring my sights up when going around corners, entering buildings etc.. Always prcatice bringing your sights up anytime you go to aim at an enemy. Shotting at the hip is very hit and miss.

GraygoMarcey in our server your allowed outside the map and on top of buildings, sniping is great its like shooting birds. The only rule is we do not want you hiding within objects that would otherwise be solid. Most of the bad spots are modded out of the maps so most maps their aren't any map glitches.

If highjumping isn't your thing, that's no problem, there are lots of other servers.

You pick m16, or m14 under assault rifles and don't pick any sights at all. It will then be iron sites. Most of the time you can't pick a sight anyways tell you level up the weapon.

Actually fun fact: The verb to snipe came from soldiers in British India who were skilled enough to shoot fast and quick birds called Snipes out of the sky which gave them the nick name *snipers*. ANYWAY its not only the camping that annoys me its the people who abuse the high-jump by bunny hopping in combat its just STUPID, like sit yo ass down ♥♥♥♥♥, play the game right, aim and shoot, not jump spray and pray.

Again to each there own, Its not about playing the game right, its about playing what you like to play. RAID runs different servers with different configs so that people play what they want. I like the high jump servers personally. After being burnt by titanfall I returned to COD MW3 and COD4 and happened to wonder across this high jump mod and have been playing it ever since.

I just got back into the game since the PS3 days and I am trying to get all red tiger skins on PC from PS3 so all you do is just aim for the upper chest and when they shoot and you shoot they kick your players aim up to their head getting the kill quicker and faster, just follow the player slowly and you just get the kill.
