Well first if new just practice with keyboard and mouse. After a short time you get used to it. The basics are a breeze as in moving around, aiming with mouse, shooting. Things like knife, crouch, prone, nade, swapping weapons take a little more. But like a controller just have to find were those are at. Also there are gaming mouses and keypads. They add more buttons on mouse as well as a gaming keypad takes keyboard and shrinks it.

Some have a joystick which you can use for moving. Or use it as a hot key. Basically if you push joystick one way it changes all the keys. Push another way same thing etc. razer has a couple.

But if you insist then for cod4 you need a 3rd party software. Have not used in a long time so not sure which are the best. Or if free still. Joy2pad used to be one and xpadder. They just transfer which button you push on controller to the corsponding keyboard or mouse button.

Can lag sometimes and no aim assist. On console even with it off it's still slightly there. You can aim slightly off a player and still get a hit as the hit marker is slightly bigger. On PC ragardless you must hit the person.

If you are having trouble aiming with mouse try to turn sensitivity down in game.

You use a playstation controller in your console, on PC you use keyboard and mouse. Get used to it if you want to be competitive as said above.

BTW how would I know if you use a KB/mouse by looking at the games you play? You asked how to use a PS4 controller, my comment still stands.

Because I'd rather play this game with a controller cause counter strike raped my mouse 2 button aim skills.

Huh? I play Cs and this game and neither messes me up. But as I said and the other guy kb and mouse are better. But if you insist I posted how to use a game controller. Cod4 does not support a controller so you have to use a third party software.

There is no controller support. You will have to download Xpadder which costs about £5. It covers all games though

Well as I said I play both and yet I still use my right mouse button to aim. But your choice. I for one don't mind people using controller cause it feel it gives me the advantage then.
