or can you change difficulty throughout the game if it gets too hard?
Lobbing grenades blind over the shipping container works as the first thing you do. You only have 5 grenades though. Stepping out and firing at them is suicidal. There are also very carefully placed snipers firing at you from several places and their positions get refilled about four times. Its good to figure out where those guys are and they can reach you at places that look really safe later in the level.
You need to use smoke and the C4 on BMPs and later the Javelin or rpg's on the other BMPs.
I like to use the sniper rifle but there aren't many spots where you're very far away. They can snipe you with their assault rifles easily and they spot you really fast. If you get hit once you're going to get hit again soon unless you keep moving. It makes it hard to spot enemies. There's no binocular like there often is for this type of mission. Its hard to time the shots and the enemies do warp around very quickly, but not far. It can be annoying. Keep shooting and one day your're moving and sniping and taking people out all over the place. Very satisfying. Even so they're always flanking you or picking you off from a distant high place. Real sense of chaos until you know where everything is and that's why I've played All IN and War Pig and shock and awe levels thousands of times over the years. They're still fun and I still find new ways to attack. I'd probably be considered a beginner on multiplayer games.
Although, Veteran on Arcade Mode with limited lives might be another story. That's crazy hard, especially for a full game challenge.
