most if they have high xp are due to a mod, it will rank you to level 55 and unlock everything for you. but this is only if playing that mod. go back to regular servers and you are back to your old rank.
those are good, but not the best. G3 is a great weapon and 1 shot kill and great at a long distance as well. just have to get used to the single shot. i love bolts but semi autos are great if miss.
as far as servers go, most of the time they cant tell if you went to a high xp rank up server. the problem is that doing those servers can run the risk of missing weapons, skins, attachments etc.
Again, what? How would you ever be in risk of that? This is not console where a modded lobby can break the game for you...
dude i have been playing along time. ok the first point. i was talking strictly about mods. if you play in a mod that has its own rank system etc, you keep that rank for that mod. it wont effect your regular rank. not sure how hard that was to understand. or what the problem was. there are many servers that do a fast rank up as soon as you join and start a match. it will rank you up to level 55 and unlock everything. freezetag mods are common for this. then they usually continue with the rank going past 55 but you dont gain anything other then knowing if someone is a level 60 for instance then they have been playing that mod (and most of the time the server) for a while.
second part, look up some post, it does mess up your stuff. there are many on the pc (not some console) who have done a fast rank up, and then did not have certain weapons unlocked etc. there is a thing called glitches that do happen. even on a pc.
My problem with the High XP servers is that it ruins the pseudo-RPG element of COD4, the one really addictive quality it has compared to much better and newer FPS games. Yeah, I get that a tiny fraction of the 2007 playercount still plays and the hundreds of hackers ruin any kind of competitive elements, but at least a warning would be nice. AG's servers are all +400 a kill IIRC. Only FF still has the vanilla XP values and even then on only half their servers for some reason.
