for some just headphones plugged in worked.
what do you mean? i am running windows 10 and i can right click on the speaker icon then pick recording devices. then from there right click in the white box and click to show disabled devices and then click stereo mix and enable.
i dont have a problem running cod4 though so i dont have to do that. but i am on my screen and can get to my stereo mix and i am running windows 10
Thanks very much this fixed the problem :)
i used to get this all the time on my old laptop that had a seperate jack for headphones and a mic. (my current laptop has a jack that both are combined as well as 2 seperate jacks). and i would just have to use a headset for it to work. did not have to do the mic part at all. so there are other fixes for it. if not then for some something in there mic jack worked. for others none of that seems to work.
