Original or remastered?

To preface this, I haven't played COD4 before. I beat BO1 and played a little of some others, but after some research on which one to get on Steam, I decided on COD4. Now I'm wondering whether to get the original or the remastered version. I would definitely play at least a little multiplayer, but the graphics are what really draw me towards the remaster. However, this one is cheaper as well as having people seemingly online. What should I go with?

mwr doesnt launch for PC and has no fix, im surprised it is still on the store

cod 4 always works, and if it somehow doesnt there are plenty of fixes

also cod4 is still played and mwr is dead

Ah, okay. The main thing drawing me to the remaster was the colours, they popped a lot more and looked a lot more vibrant, while in the older COD games things tend to look a lot more washed-out. Is there a way for me to make the game look a little bit more colourful?

Alright. One more thing, what's the hacking situation, and are there any servers where I can (at least somewhat) reliably get into lobbies without cheaters?

on COD4X client there are plenty of servers with anticheat and mods, so cheaters are uncommon
