Too fast mouse sensitivity
Most of the games that are made by Activision, such as Modern Warfare 1, 2 and Black Ops 1 have problem with too fast mouse sensitivity. I tried lowering all my sensitivity but I still lose control and can't aim properly. Please help.

Ah. Well depends on mouse. If the mouse has software then usually within the software.

I also know you can manually set your sensitivity ingame thru console. It sure how low.

Mine is pretty low. I run around a 2 ingame sensitivity and a 450 dpi setting. But I use a Logitech G502 mouse.

I don't really think my mouse is the problem, because I changed into other mouse I have but it the problem was still there, and it happens in certain games like I listed above. Black Ops 3 seems to work fine, but not Black Ops 1 or all the Modern Warfare series. Also, the problem is that the aim just loses control not just going fast, when I try to turn, the character turns like 4 times even I stopped moving my mouse. Btw, my mouse is not really famous brand but it's MAXTILL VESTA gaming mouse.

Well could be the mouse. I don't have those issues.

If your mouse has a pre set dpi like 1000 then that can make it feel fast.

My mouse has a software for it. So I can change the dpi as well as calibrate it with what ever surface I am using.

Maybe it's your mouse pad as well?

Thank you, I changed the DPI, now it's way better than last time, but there are still some jolting problem. I changed the mouse pad, but the problem still remains.

If software. Make sure to update. My mouse was doing that and I had to update. But for mine, I had to delete the software and re download.

Also check if he software has a way to calibrate to the mouse pad?

Also might be the computer acceleration? Or whatever. Instead of allowing raw input from the mouse, it will skip if move to fast.

This is due to the ACCELERATION settings. Control Panel > Hardware > Devices > Mouse then go tab by tab you want to find either MOTION (usually under Pointer Options tab) or ACCELERATION . Just slide it down.

Try this. Or look up how to disable.
