I also know you can manually set your sensitivity ingame thru console. It sure how low.
Mine is pretty low. I run around a 2 ingame sensitivity and a 450 dpi setting. But I use a Logitech G502 mouse.
If your mouse has a pre set dpi like 1000 then that can make it feel fast.
My mouse has a software for it. So I can change the dpi as well as calibrate it with what ever surface I am using.
Maybe it's your mouse pad as well?
Also check if he software has a way to calibrate to the mouse pad?
This is due to the ACCELERATION settings. Control Panel > Hardware > Devices > Mouse then go tab by tab you want to find either MOTION (usually under Pointer Options tab) or ACCELERATION . Just slide it down.
Try this. Or look up how to disable.
