In this case, upgrade your weapon yourself. In my opinion, they are not needed

don't get me wrong, but this game was the first CoD with unlockable items, so there isn't much variety in terms of attachments and camouflages. the grinding potential is already too limited, considering there is no ability to prestige (on PC, at least).

in online matches, I don't think you'd be at any serious disadvantage against those who are level 55 with everything unlocked. you can still kick lots of ass, even with default classes.

yup, there's a lot of level 55 players and they're not that good

true. I never even felt the need to back up my mpdata file before uninstalling CoD4. at each reinstall, I just purposely started from scratch, because progressing and unlocking stuff in CoD4 doesn't really take a long time, unlike newer CoDs where grinding potential is huge.

If you want more then 5 custom classes only fix is to have multiple profiles you can only access 5 at once but you can switch before joining a server this is cod4 pc biggest flaw but it is what it is game is still one of the best mp shooters on pc imo.
