"Eliminate Imran Zakhaev" Mission In A Nutshell ("Get to the Extraction Point" Objective)
Run for cover. Shoot first wave of enemies. Get overwhelmed on all sides with inadequate cover which explodes. Dead.

Run for cover. Shoot first wave of enemies. Get overwhelmed on all sides with inadequate cover which explodes. Dog tries to kill you. Spam melee button but dead anyway.

Run for cover. Shoot first wave of enemies. Get overwhelmed on all sides with inadequate cover which explodes. Timer pressures you to keep moving. Enemies don't stop spawning in front, to the left, and behind. Shot to death.

Run for cover. Shoot first wave of enemies. Get overwhelmed on all sides with inadequate cover which explodes. Explosion kills you again.

Run for cover. Shoot first wave of enemies. Get overwhelmed on all sides with inadequate cover which explodes. LEEEROOOYYYYYYY- Dead.

Run for cover. Shoot first wave of enemies. Get overwhelmed on all sides with inadequate cover which explodes. Play it cautiously. Enemies overwhelm you with numbers and it's impossible to find cover. Shot to death from 4-5 different enemies at once.

Rinse and repeat, shuffling up the order depending on how enemies respond to what you do.

By the ferris wheel there is a little booth you can hide in, try going prone in there and shooting them as they come toward you.

I will... If/when I get to the ferris wheel. I'm still stuck in the area with all the cars lol.

If you're stuck at the beginning then just stay behind cover and fire (but obviously keep an eye on the timer).

I appreciate the advice but the problem is there is no cover that protects you from all sides. There's always a pretty wide range of places I'm being fired at from. I'm going on 4 hours of intermittent attempts for this one part on hard difficulty, lol. Makes me wish this game had a quicksave feature like Valve's single player games.

Once I am able to advance to the busses it's a lot less difficult though. To anyone else reading this in the future having trouble on this same part, go for the busses as soon as you can, and chill inside until you can go further. Also, intelligent use of claymores to cover your back can be very helpful.

Got to the ferris wheel a couple of hours ago and I see what the fuss is all about.
