Screw This Auto-Update

If you have'nt yet, DON'T DO THE UPDATE. It will ♥♥♥♥ EVERYTHING that was perfectly fine before up! There was no reason for this. Now there's only 15-20 servers that have 0-5 people in them and they're all ♥♥♥♥. Tohoever is responsible or running things: the players are pissed, this game sucks now, PLEASE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fix this.

i had the same issue,, i think i have fixed mine,,, i tried reloading the game , backdated to the 1.7, still no difference ,, i remembered that in the multiplayer options there is no punk buster,,, so i went to the game file and removed PB files and put it on my desktop to see if it made any difference,, ive played 3 games with no freezes or crashes,, hope this helps, it has helped me as of right now,, good luck

auto-update again, version 18.1 is out and all my crashes stopped.
Plus, the servers are updating now

updated to 18.1 but still can't launch game from desktop, only Steam???

Reinstal CoD 4
Download CoD 4 Version Changer and change ur versoin to 1.0
Good online, vanila servers, promod and mods.
