If I were to buy this game with my current operating system, would the multiplayer still work? I’ve had the DVD version forever but it no longer shows any servers for some reason... so I’m wondering if the steam MAC version will still have servers?

im on a Mac and there are a few but as time goes on there are less and less available. I have found about 5 that I can log into and 2 of them have people in there constantly.
