cod 4 promod 250fps stable

Hi guys ive not long bought a pc, and im playing cod4 promod. im trying to get 250fps but cant seem to, ive tried everything out there using a bunch of different configs, currently using the qlimazu config.
my graphics card is a nvidia geforce 1050ti. Any other specs required please ask. Ive spoke to players online and they have this card and they get 250fps on max settings and im using the lowest possible and getting a range from 139-250, im looking for a stable 250fps if possible. Already tried all the console commands possible xD.

Change all settings to low and do not use anti aliasing.


Try to change these commands in the config


seta r_rendererInUse "Shader model 2.0"
seta r_rendererPreference "Shader model 2.0"

What resolution are you playing at?

Sorry for a late reply but the first of your 2 command doesnt seem to work it wont change from shadet model 3.0
My resolution is 640x480 the lowest that i can go

Just an update the second command worked but fps isnt 250, i feel it has to be something big im missing not a small detail

also just uninstalled game and windows, still doesnt seem to be working. has gone up but not near a stable 250fps

so strange, even with my old card was a GTX660 and i could easilly reach 333.

But ik some people with 980 and even 1080 that cant get close to 250 make totally no sense lmao

Hmm with my GTX 1080 I can get max 600fps but dips to 180 sometimes. Tho it runs usually anywhere between 200 and 300fps. That's at 1080p max detail.
