Hello.
I have a fix for our favorite FPS game :)
Better if you re-download your game and delete files from install folder.
than:
1 Download this version of iw3mp.exe file - http://www. mediafire. com/file/rk0hvkuxu0plxdn/iw3mp.exe (delete 2x space)
and put it game folder.
2. Download COD4 X patch - (Windows server option) from - cod4 x.me (delete 1x space)
copy all files to game folder
3. Run cod4 x18_dedrun file and patch game
4. Run game and choose any server to finish patching you game.

It worked with the COD4 xme (minus the space) v1.7 client patch. I unzipped the file and placed it in the COD4 directory and ran the .exe file. It failed the first time, because it was looking for a default location on C directory. It then allowed me to pick the installation location using the browse function. Now the game is once again at version1.7. THANKS!!!!
