hi can someone help me i play cod4 deathrun and my fps doesnt go higher then 250 on ultra settings and with the lowest graphics it is still 250?

Check the max fps. Plus why do you want over 250 fps lol.

deathrun u will need 333 xD but ye i have 125 250 333 binded on middle mouse

well sounds like its capped at 250. deathrun though you can usually get thru the maps with 125 or 250. jumper servers usually require the use of all 3.

but make sure the bind is correct for 333? i had similar issue once and it was cause i did not bind correctly.

also verify the server allows 333? think servers can set up and prevent going higher so some only allow up to 250.

deathrun and jumper servers are created so even low end pcs can get good fps.

no its allowed but i get like 250 - 280 fps but if i put the graphics really low it will even go down to 170?

because 125, 250 and 333 are believe it or not, needed fps to reach to be able to make and perform certain jumps. so for deathrun and jumper servers its needed. for regular servers it was needed to be able to make certain jump spots as well.


i am not sure why you cant get it. if setting lower you should get higher. maybe make sure graphics card is updated.

there is a command you can also try. for my nicer laptop for some reason i was getting issues for a while. think it finally got fixed in the last update or so. but i had to type in /r_gpusync 0 or you can try /r_gpusync 2 the default is 1 and for some reason for a while it was giving me issues.

Don't know how many say that or a variant of it lol. They don't realize that sure maybe we can only see whatever fps. But they fail to realize the game mechanics.

I've never heard 16.6, I usually hear around 60 depending on the person. Anyway is it to do with the same reason VSync causes input lag or what?

Yeah never heard 16.6. Like you usually 30,45 or 60. Just hear that as an excuse all the time.

I don't know what causes it other then those 3 are numbers needed or you can't make certain jumps.
