Map and mod downloading very slow!

Hello! I have been trying to play with my friend, but it takes forever to download any map or mod. I have 30mbps down, so that's not the problem. My friend can also download them very quickly. Any help would be appriciated!

A few things. Close the game and re open and try again.

What speed is it downloading at? If 12 Kbps then yeah try closing game and re trying. If higher then that then it's usually fine just on there end.

If your connecting to EU servers, then yes your speed would be somewhat slower.

/reconnect in console can solve the "12 Kbps" bug.

Yeah that can as well but not always. So can try the /reconnect or even /disconnect prior to closing game. The /reconnect usually helps if your speed is slow but faster then the 12Kbps. At leasr for me usually.

I usually just add a server to favorites then try it. If don't like I delete. This way it's easy to find.

it happens all the time. been playing sense release. i download at 5-10 or so Mbps at times. and then now and then it will do a 12Kbps bug which you then have to reconnect. then usually its fine.

it has nothing to do with you or friend. its a bug in the game.

it happens all the time and isnt always 12kbps.

just started playing it again tried to fix this and alt tabbed to search for it and literally that fixed it lol
