the player count is pretty small but you stand a good chance of finding populated servers
just dont hop on a modded or hardcore server if modded or hardcore is your thing then you can its just my opinion on those types of servers and you can connect fast if your internet is good
enough. ps: the player count is 304

CoD4 is still a lot of fun. Plenty of people still play it, and most of the servers have more then enough players to play properly. I can join my favorite server in 10 sec.

Steam only shows players who play going thru steam. Many play but not thru steam. I do all the time and own the steam copy but I don't log into steam most of the time.


Others have the cd version.

Yes, Its highly recommended to play. MP always has people playing, my favorite server e.g has at least 14 people on it, but mostly 30-34. There are also highXP servers to max out your rank in 4-5 games to gain access all of the weapons, so you can just use everything you can.

Single campaing is a classic thing now, better play it if you've never seen it before.

I have 6 COD games from COD4MW to Ghosts. COD4MW is as fun as my most favorites. It is also one of the last few 'old school' PC FPS to have server browser and moddability.

I don't care for zombies. Trump says they are FAKE, lol. I love COD 4.
