Please Refresh the Open Street Map Files
I have seen dozen of people on several forms saying that they have updated the open street maps program, hoping that their local hospitals and police and fire stations will appear in the game. Several people have asked the question that I am asking now with varying degrees of answers along the lines of "we will never update OSM" or "It is a regular event that the OSM files are refreshed." When will the OSM files be uploaded to 112 Operator?

It would be extremely helpful to have a definite answer and even better yet have the files refreshed, even if it is only a few times a year - like every four months. It is pretty clear that I am not a genius about how the backend of 112 operator is built, so if someone could educate me on how 112 operator and OSM communicate, I would be very grateful. I have added over 52 fire stations, 7 police stations, and 2 hospitals to the Dallas Fort Worth area. I know many others have contributed hundreds upon hundreds of updates hoping that they would come to 112 operator to no avail. If you are a developer that is reading this I want to thank you for your time reading this and amazing work in 112 Operator and I anxiously await your response.

Hi, unfortunately updating OSM is not an easy task, that requires days of recalculating the maps and delivering terabytes of updates to the players.
Next OSM update is planned with DLC Water publication.

In the meantime you can try to edit the maps and savegames by hand in C:\Users\....\AppData\LocalLow\JutsuGames\112 Operator\Saves

I asked a very similar question to this back on the 911 op forums with no definitive answer. Seems like they either don't know themselves or want to keep it deliberately vague.

A huge hospital is missing from my city while a small care center (vårdcentral) is shown as a hospital on the map. Would be nice to see a refresh indeed.

I have the same problem with my hometown.
But the funny point however is that our main hospital was displayed on the map back in 911 Operator but is now missing in 112 Operator. :steammocking:
So it seems that there was some kind of update for the maps with the release of the latest game but that mentioned update made it worse in case of certain cities. On the other hand I also had a lot of doctor's offices displayed as hospitals in my hometown back in 911 Operator and at least those have disappeared by now in most cases.

Hi all,
DLC Facilities allow you to easily deploy your own stations. The game is being developed all the time and your opinions are very important :)

What can we do about stations in the wrong places? We should have an option to remove those.

There is nothing you can do yet. Just wait.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
