Only one piece of equipment?

I dont know if this changes later but why cant individual people have two pieces of equipment? My favorite part of 911 operator was able to do my units a mix of equipment, so that my cops could also handle minor medical emergencies or minor fires, depending on their loadout.

I hate that 112 operator really forces you to use the proper units and a variety of units cant multitask. Im pretty sure cop cars have fire extinguishers on board and could put out trash fires, or that firefighters have first aid kits and could handle a sprained ankle or a heat stroke.

Also before anyone says that units can already answer to a variety of calls, im talking about efficiency. A cop answering a sprained ankle takes like 4 hours to resolve it.

Equipping the cars would be so much cooler.

+1 one piece of equipment makes no sense, and the number of slots should be tied to the vehicles.

But did you see, that most equipments "stack" themselves? Some more improved equipments already include things from the "lesser" ones. So technically, you ARE giving your units much more to work with!

Thats how it was in 911 operator but equipping cars as well as people would be a good solution as well.

The upgraded equipment still keeps each unit in their "specialisation" i dont remember seeing cop equipment that gives them better first aid stats
