What is tapjoy? How many jewels can it give (practically) ?

I saw this AD about 2.5x increase from tapjoy, but there is no any explanation about it.
So how beneficial/practical is it?

I don't have Facebook account linked (I don't have such account either...), as I understand I will lose all progress if I link the Steam game to Facebook now, won't it?

idk if pc version has its own tapjoy but its essentially just doing tasks like downloading and getting to certain levels in mobile games

PC (Steam) version doesn't have tapjoy, it's mobile-only, but it points to some Android game... but how to integrate them? And how will this "tapjoy" in an Android game give jewels in PC game?

this game is normally a mobile game, and the account connects via facebook. thats how u would like ur pc version with ur mobile version, on mobile if u go to tapjoy there should be a list of things u can do and amount of points they each give most of which are downloading a certain app for example, if you do it using the links provided in tapjoy then u will get the points
