No, this was developed by a different group. Dust was nearly 100% made, designed, and coded by one person, Dean Dodrill. It's a bit like saying because a hit album was released under one label that the next albums from that same label should be the same quality. The true talent is the one doing the work, not the one doing the distribution and marketing.

"Independent animator and game developer. Creator of Dust: An Elysian Tail and Never Stop Sneakin'!"

I mean... if the dev claims he created both.....

i never get why ppl choose this kind of edgy engine. I wondered about that aswell. Dust is such a beauty and good game - and this here.... already looking at it makes me crying.

All it needed were classic pixels like nuclear throne and stuff. But no - ppl choose the trash-engine, that even would look worse on ps1. Sometimes i feel like many developer know how to code but just dont have a feeling for the love and natural instincts it needs - or lose the focus once cash is dropping.

getting a bit nostalgic here. but it makes me angry to see one developer by another getting more trashy.

one day making games will be some kind of art and expression again. One day. (dont tell me the day wont come anymore because greedy companys push developer out of there limits. just dont tell me.)

Same here, I can't understand how this game was made by the same team from Dust.
