I hope TOAW will always remain a pure 2D game and a pure wargame. If they develop their own brand new UI, then that's fine, but please, don't clone existing games. Keep TOAW its unique touch.
What would like for TOAW V is more modern equipment so that we can recreate modern conflicts with greater accuracy. Balistic missiles, electronic warfare, sensors, radars, drones, etc. And to continue to develop the naval ops. And the possibility to destroy civilian buildings as objectives (bridges, power plants, government buildings, roads, etc). Ideally such destructions would have a real impact on operations.
No idea what this means. The IV UI has had a suite of changes from III.
My guess is five years off.
