Game crashes after running for 30 sec
It was working fine before with no adjustments to the settings and now it crashes every time after running for about 30 seconds. Running on windows in bootcamp on a 2020 Mac Pro with 32gb ram.

I got the same problem with a windows 10 PC. Everytime I get in the game, it runs for about 30s then crashes. I tried rebooting the computer, checking the game files, updating the drivers, nothing worked so far... Can't continue the game.

Did you install all necessary microsoft visual c++ redistributables 2015-2019 and somewhere inside the The Beast inside-folders (extra, i guess) is a tool called somewhat like UE4 Prerequisites x64.exe (or similar). Maybe this could help you solving that issue.

Updated all redistributables, and still game keeps crashing. My PC specs meet the requirements to run the game. Open to more suggestions.

same here, it just crashes. Not a specs issue

Also have crashes after 30 Sek. Cannot play the game. Anny solutions, as I suppose the publisher will not realy be of help!?

Unfortunately the development has no interest in support of the game since Nov. 2019. I found the following sites with google: https://www.ghostarrow.com/the-beast-inside-fix-black-screen-on-startup or https://gamerinfo.net/game/the-beast-inside/technical-issues/#:~:text=The%20Beast%20Inside%20crashes%20to,game%20may%20not%20work%20correctly. Maybe activate the compatibility mode in the properties of thebeastinside.exe and deactivate the full image optimization. As a last option, try out any functions inside the graphics driver. I will test it by myself on my fresh installed windows 10 x64 Home Ed. on a standard ssd (256 gb) with my Ryzen 7 2700x (no turbo boost options activated), 16 GB DDR 4 RAM and a NV GTX 1070 (slightly undervolted and with latest driver 471.68), my soundcard is onboard(Realtek). I use the latest AM4 chipset driver and tell you if it's running.....

...I've played through the first chapter now on full hd and with ULTRA settings (Shadows on HIGH) without any single crash or other issue. On my fresh installed windows 10 system are the microsoft visual c++ 2008, 2010, 2012 as well as 2015-2019, no other codec packs or similar. I would recommend to install the UE4PrereqSetup_x64.exe inside the steam-folder of the beast inside: Engine/Extras/Redist/en-us/... That's all from my side. Sorry.

Ok, tried the suggestions above, sadly to no avail. Cannot figure out what is causing this game to crash.

First of all, this issue occurs on devices with a 10th generation or higher intel computer.
I was having the same issue and by following these steps my issue was resolved:
step1 : press ( Windows + R ) Paste this '' SystemPropertiesAdvanced ''
step2 : Next click on Environment Variables...
step3 : In the lower frame, System Variables, press New
step4 : And in the fields, paste these values:
Variable Name: OPENSSL_ia32cap
Variable value: ~0x20000000

Press Ok and close the Environment Variables window. Restart the computer. Try to run the game now.

don't forget to thanks :)

Got the same issue on my 11th Gen Intel Core i5-11600KF, at least now I can finally play without any crashes or black screen problems :)

My friend was having issues with the game crashing after about 30 seconds. I tried the above fix from pepegamanager and it fixed his game
