Question about the Gunslinger Outfit
How good is it compared to the standard armor?

Gunslinger gauntlets allow you to more easily play "footsies" with the enemies because you can run forward and backwards to control the space between you and them. Your charge punch is nearly instant, can fly a few tiles, and you can cancel it at any time. Effectively, you can punch and dash away most common enemies.

The drawbacks is that your Poise is very low, which means that you will get staggered when hit or when blocking anything. You also have 2 slots for specials and much less health. Also if you run away too much, the projectiles of some enemies become nigh impossible to react to, and since your poise is low you can't really block those.

I did not like bringing the Gunslinger to bosses because they're designed to hit you and plain dodging becomes much more challenging than just trading blows. You may want to switch back to the originals or something with more room for error like the punk gauntlets.

The Gauntlets/Outfits aren't meant to be better than each other, they're meant for different playstyles, try it out and if you like it stick with it and experiment with others, it's got enough advantages and disadvantages for there not to be "the better gauntlet", it's all down to personal preference honestly

I'll keep this in mind. Thanks!
