Welcome to the NIGHT 4 Thread!

Night 4 is currently the newest night in the game. This thread is dedicated to NIGHT 4, where you can discuss things that we could change/adjust/fix in the 4th night of the game. Here you can also report bugs and glitches. Feel free to post your Feedback and Suggestions down below in the comments.

I started playing TTFA in some of the earliest days. I fondly remember the bugs, glitches, and difficulties that existed in the game at the beginning. But to watch its growth so far is amazing! I am always excited to discover news of any kind come to this game! The map is effectively rendered now, the graphics grow with every update, and gameplay is being streamlined rapidly. The growth of not just the game, but the team as well is amazing to watch! Night 4 went extremely well and the immersion was extraordinary! There were a few collision issues I noticed in the power room and on the path to the Lab, but otherwise, it was a very well-made Night! I cannot wait for the full release! Much love and keep up the astonishing work!

Can anyone give me any advice on how to get night 4 to show up as a night I can play. I still only have 3 nights available to play despite having made sure I'm fully updated, verified the files. I uninstalled and reinstalled tonight which did finally change the games thumbnail to include the phrase "Night 4 Now Available". However, when I launch the game I still only have 3 nights available... I've had the game since shortly after it was launched, and I really like it, but its really annoying not having any new content in the past year

Hello, if you've completed the 3rd night, the 4th night should show up as usual in the bottom left corner of the night selection screen. Try completing the 3rd night (use the "skip first half" if necessary). That should unlock the 4th night. If that doesn't work, you can try to delete all your save data and press the "U" key in the main menu, which will unlock all the 4 nights for you. To do this, follow these instructions:

1. Go to Windows taskbar and use Windows search (don't use file explorer search). Type "%appdata%" in the Windows search bar and press enter.
   
2. A file explorer window will pop up showing the "Roaming" folder. Use the upper bar which shows the folder's location and click on "AppData" to go to that folder.
   
3. Then, in "AppData" folder, go to "LocalLow" and inside that folder, locate and delete the "Amberdrop" folder.
   
4. Once that folder has been deleted, you can close the file explorer and launch the game.
   
5. In the game, once you get to the main menu, press the "U" key and that should unlock all 4 nights.

Night 4 trying to sleep is extremely frustrating. The sleep bar moves way too slow. Given the amount of interactions, I'm finding it impossible to go to sleep. This one definitely needs some work.

Night 3 trying to sleep got a little annoying, but I cannot stand night 4. I don't even want to try anymore.

Sorry to hear that you were having a hard time falling asleep. We'll be releasing a small patch later today to improve the balance of the sleeping mechanics as well as fix a few small issues that people have reported to us.

currently watching a streamer playing the game (distortion2) and a lot of bugs happen in the night 4 unfortunately, like camera shaking after reading the note, monster following you to one of the 'trial rooms' even tho not being a probleme during the trial itself but popping wildly after and glitchy, but i'd also say it waaaay too aggressive somehow, either that or regoing through the whole thing if he gets you on your 4th item is pretty annoying
game until that part was awesome, can't wait to see the game fully finished

Saw the stream ourselves and took a few notes. Gonna try to work on the things we saw in the stream and release a small patch as soon as we can.

Looking forward to the updates, but please make them accessible by balancing the difficulty of Night 4 a bit.

Good update! I was finally able to fall asleep on night 4, though it still took a few tries. Looking forward to final chapters!
