VC gameplay with Gundam IP

Hi all, wouldn't be awesome to have a Gundam game with the mechanics of VC?

I know it's impossible for branding reasons but I guess a mecha style game would suffice.

But at the same time, no one has picked up on the mechanics to make an inspired/clone franchise.

Any feedback appreciated.

Not a 100% clone but pretty similar to what you're asking for is Dual Gear. Mech S-RPG with the VC style turns for each character.
