Report a translation problem
The only application I can think of is when you want a defensive unit that can comfortably take damage and retaliate against multiple enemy Scouts that will not run into 200+accessory range (so 300-350). Maybe in a situation where there is like a Sniper that you know will chunk your unit a little before Scouts go in.
But that's on a purely theoretical level. I'm pretty sure such specific situation does not come up anywhere in post-game, 250-290 range MGs cover just about all practial defensive needs.
Interesting weapon, but I doubt I'll use it. In fact I doubt I'll find any use for the Expert Skirmishes weapons since it feels kinda pointless to receive such special weapons after already clearing what's supposedly the highest challenge in the game.
