What's your GPU?

GeForce 940mx, all my other games run on this and they still work fine.
See if V-sync is turned on outside the game.
If you are using windows 10 you could try disabling full screen optimizations.

If it's only just started happening when it was works, something must have changed. Did you install any updates? driver? windows october update?

Update-I re-installed the game also, did not fix the the problem

Also disabling full screen optimizations did nothing. I tried running on Integrated graphics and it worked, this is of course slightly annoying since the game doesnt look as good. So for some reason the game just suddenly doesnt wanna run on my 940 mx :/

None of that stuff worked
Are you sure if you followed the steps correctly?

If so go to your VC4 steam folder and make a shortcut of the exe:

Right Click on the Shortcut and select " Properties "

In the " Target " line, after the quotation marks ( " ) append the end with " -windowed " e.g.

game.exe" -windowed

My guess would be that this is caused by the game outputting at some combination of resolution and refresh that your monitor doesn't support.

You might want to back up your saves somewhere else, delete them and the system save, and restart the game. This should default to 1080/60 windowed fullscreen, which your monitor hopefully can handle just fine.
Yeah that's likely his problem for some reason or another his resolution changed.

Where do I find the save files? If thats the case it seems odd that it would work on the integrated graphics and not my 940mx
