tried comming from the south meat 2 tanks, and in the north there is 2 right in front of the door, heck 3 if you count the one down by the main base... all well, already got A rank, so i guess Ace hunt is on
After getting all 5 aces I was able to finish to the end of the dlc's cutscenes. Crosschecked with a couple Chinese guides that all said the only things you get from the Beach DLC were the swimsuits.
Probably like in the first one where if you already knew where to do something and got it done earlier than you had to, it still had the scene telling you that you had to do it. I think it's just done that way so we don't miss any cutscenes simply for being efficient.
I'm just curious how many dlc there will be for this one. Almost makes me wish for a season pass in this case lol

The first map just has an incorrect location for the southern-most scout ace, but fortunately you can't miss him. He's actually by the sandbags directly west and around the corner of Raz's starting position. All the other ace positions are accurate.
I finished both maps with all aces in 1 turn each using scouts and All Units Defend. First map was super easy, second one I barely scraped by. I took Minerva up the left side and even with All Units Defend she was still very low on health by the time I made it to the ace. Also he's crouched, and several of the intercepting units along the way had ammo debuffs that stole my grenade, so it took me 3 CP to kill the ace with just the rifle. After that I had just enough CP left over to have another scout Direct Command Raz just short of the northern base, take out the two guys there, and cap the flag. In retrospect it probably would have been easier to have my second scout direct command both Minerva and Raz to the northern base, and then send Minerva west and then south to get the ace that way.
For those looking for a little less hand-holding on how to beat the missions, I've also done an error-free mapped guide on all enemy ace locations and corresponding weapon drops. It's in the Guides section. Ace locations on all future DLCs will be updated on the day they're released at the latest and the beach episode's maps are up already.
1-turn strategy on 2nd map:
The loss of grenades here has minimal impact, just position a good trooper near Minerva at start. 1st move use all unit defend order. Then direct command Minerva (or Claude, either works) to pick up your trooper and run up the right side, you'll be at the enemy tank just in front of their base camp (you may already be in range of the crouching enemy scout inside the camp and can take him out at this point if you have a 7-clip fully R&D'd rifle). Next move use the trooper, switch to flamethrower, run past the enemy base camp but stop to take out the crouching trooper inside the base before moving on to towards the ace. You'll end up just short of the 2 rooftop gatling guns on the top left of the map. Move your trooper 2 more times (ragnaid yourself on the 2nd trooper move if needed) and you'll be in range of the crouching enemy ace, either shoot or burn him with flamethrower. By now you have 3CP left, and that's more than enough to use an attack or penetration order on Minerva (if needed) and shoot down the scout inside the camp if you haven't already earlier and capture the base to win.
