I think Minerva is sympathetic and understandable BUT has two things that make me dislike her.

First, she has the inferitority complex where she has to beat him no matter what. Biggest example is Ronald (her tanker) chewing her out in the scenes after her squad story for throwing their squad in too quickly with a fight with Claude's squad (which they lost off screen).

Second, there is her actions in chapter 17, which to avoid some spoilers, include thretening to kill her commander and getting close to killing A LOT MORE PEOPLE. Claude isn't off the hook either in my opinion for the stuff related the the chapter's events, but she does a serious think about being a mass murderer.

She's a fairly good character: doesn't mean I have to like her.

Second, she were blinded by vengeance at that moment and I think many ppl would do thing like her did.

Even Claude and Riley were blinded by vengeance. In Claude's case he almost detonate the bomb but at the end he realized this is not what he fought for and helped Minerva realize it. In Riley's case she just gave Vinland all her research without caring about consequences.

She is a good character in VC4 but no one force you to like her.

The point I was trying to get at in the first one is that the ‘rivalry’ basically stops her from functioning well whenever Claude is around, often to her detriment.
The second point is that I understand why she did it and said that I don’t let Claude of the hook, but the big key is that Claude delayed himself long enough to receive the stand down order. He still throws a fit, but Minerva is the one who highjacks it after the standown order was given.
And while it’s a meme, this is a ‘Minerva best girl’ thread. As stated above, I disagree with that.
